Fuel Gauge

The fuel indicates the level of fuel remaining in the fuel tank.Fill up the tank before the needle reaches 'E' (empty).Make sure that you are using suitable fuel on the vehicle.

Safety When Driving

Driving on a Sandy or Mud Road
Keep your speed steady as low as possible.
While driving,be careful not to accelerate or stop too quickly because you might get stuck in sand or mud.

Driving on Unpaved and Mountain Roads
There is a danger in driving mountain road so always be alert.
Make sure that the road is not slippery.
Always drive at a below speed.

Child safety
Always put the child safety lock if children are going with out an adult.
DO NOT let children peek through the doors or see out side through the shutters while driving.
Make sure that the children are belted to secure them from an accident.

Diesel Fuel in the Winter

On an extremely cold day, paraffin, one of the chemicals in diesel fuel, may separate from the diesel fuel. This separation makes starting the engine difficult.During the winter season,Kerosene is added to diesel in the domestic market to prevent the paraffin separation and secure stable flow of the fuel through the fuel filter. The amount of added Kerosene into diesel can vary by location and their average winter temperatures. Therefore,to ensure an easy start on a cold day, park your vehicle inside of a garage.if possible, fill up the fuel tank after each driving to prevent ice from forming inside of the fuel system.

Before Driving

Checking the status of your vehicle before driving is really important for safety and comfortable of the car and the driver.check each part of the vehicle before driving.

  • Checking Problematic Parts
  1. Checking the parts that you feel unsure about is really important.
  • Checking the External Appearance of Your Vehicle
  1. Check for flat tires and the air pressure.
  2. Check all the lights for damage or dirt.
  3. Checked for oil stains under a parked car.
  4. Check the side mirrors and licened plate for any dirt that blocks the vision.
  • Checking the Driving Conditions
  1. Adjustment of the rear-view mirror.
  2. All lighting devices.
  3. The adjustment of the driving seat.
  4. All warning lights and indicators.
  5. Make sure that the all the headlights and taillights are working properly.
  • Checking the Engine Compartment
  1. Engine oil
  2. Power steering fluid
  3. Brake fluid
  4. Drive belt
  • Always Use the Seat Belt

Cruise Control Indicator

The cruise control is an automatic speed, control system that maintains a desired driving speed without using the accelerator pedal. The vehicle speed must be greater than 36 km/h to engage the cruise control. This feature is especially useful for motorway driving. This option must not be used in Heavy traffics,Slippery and wet roads,Winding roads. When the cruise control is switched on this indicator comes on.

EBD Warning Light (Electronic Brake-force Distribution)

EBD is a break technology that automatically varies the amount of force applied to each of a vehicle's brakes.based on road conditions, speed, loading, EBD can apply more or less braking pressure to each wheel in order to maximize stopping power whilst maintaining vehicular control. If this light appears and stays the system is malfunctioning but if it comes on and goes out the system is normal.

SSPS Warning Light

In traditional constant power assist steering system,The steer ability gets lighter as vehicle speed rises, and this may cause dangerous situation.SSPS,by providing appropriate steer ability to driver according to the changes of vehicle speed, gives steering ability. This warning light can be appear when this system is malfunctioning. So the steer ability becomes heavy for the driver.

HDC Indicator(Hill Decent Control)

When travelling down steep grades, this function allows you to travel at a low speed with out pressing the brake pedal.HDC is designed for driving on off-road steep grades.when the HDC button is pressed once HDC is ready for use. When we prss the button again HDC will deactivate.

ESP Warning Light (Electronic Stability Program)

The Electronic Stability Program is a supplementary driving safety system when your vehicle is unstably moving in a certain situation such as during a sharp corner. The ESP applies brakes on certain wheels or controls the engine torque to compensate vehicle stability. If you press the ESP button turn off the ESP function gets off and the light will appear. If the ESP warning light is on without any deactivation of the system there are some malfunctions in the system.check your vehicle from a service center.

Battery Charge Warning Light

This warning light comes on in the instrument cluster when the ignition switch is turned on and it goes off when the engine is started. If this light doesn't go off after engine starting or comes on while driving it means there is a malfunction in the system. So you must be careful to contact your service center

Tachometer

A tachometer indicates engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm). Multiply 1,000 to the current number then it will be the current number of engine revolutions

Speedometer

A speedometer indicates the speed of the vehicle in kilometers per hour (km/h) or miles per hour (mph)

Instrument Cluster

An instrument Cluster is seen on every vehicle on the dash board through the steering wheel. It can consist of A Tachometer,A speedometer,A coolant temperature gauge and a fuel gauge. In modern Cars these Gauges Are displayed Digitally rather than traditional manual gauges. The first application of an electronic instrument cluster, in a production automobile, was in the 1976 Aston Martin. But analog gauges are more advantageous than digital instrument panel. As for example,They were hard to see in the strong sunlight or other bright light and they were extremely difficult to repair.
